The Accounts Clerk provides support in ensuring a high quality standard of the administrative operations of accounts and claims.
Reporting to the Accounts Manager, you'll support operations and organisational growth objectives by: Handling communication and correspondence with suppliers and staff including recording cost variations and contract price movements.
Performing efficient and accurate data entry and filing of accounts, including timekeeping, timesheets and trainee reports, Assisting the Accounts Team with preparation of fortnightly payroll information and month-end accounts, Undertaking weekly invoicing when required, Assisting with debtor management, Supporting the business and its strategic partners, preparing and processing documentations related to account payable and receivable Bank Reconciliations Creating PRODA claims from invoices while adhering to strict NDIS coding Managing participant funding - review and monitor funding level for each participant Obtain medical expense receipts and information who to charge to and create invoice in Xero.
Record bills from Hubdoc.
Prepare fortnightly payroll Prepare weekly invoicing in Xero Someone who is adaptable, mature, proactive and able to work independently is a necessary requirement for the position.
The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate: Sound organisational and time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and competing demands, prioritise workload and meet deadlines, Significant experience in a previous bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably within the community aged care setting, A solid understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable and bank reconciliation processes, Highly developed interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, High level computer literacy (MS Office applications) Essential Criteria Working with Children NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain) Certificate III or IV in Bookkeeping or Accounts Administration or higher Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday No weekends Work Authorisation: Australia (Preferred) Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
