Accounts Assistant

Our client in the construction industry are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team before Christmas on a permanent basis! An exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation based in South Sydney.

Responsibilities:
Accounts handling mainly accounts payable and assisting with receivables if required
Knowledge of General ledger accounting entries
Month-end and accruals processing
Preparation of bank reconciliations
Processing weekly payroll
Any ad hoc duties as required

Skills/Experience:
Strong accounting background with proven experience in a similar role
Experience with Quickbooks highly preferable
Experience within the Construction industry desirable
Strong Excel Skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
