Job Summary We are seeking an Accounts Assistant with a focus on AP (trade & royalties) to join our team. This role is a part-time position (20 hours per week, Tue-Fri negotiable) – ideally most of the time in the office in Redfern, NSW, but open to hybrid work for the right candidate.

The role is envisaged as a long-term opportunity.Immediate start opportunity.Salary: 80k pro rata per annum + super (20 hours per week part-time, Tue-Fri negotiable).Benefits Great culture in a creative music industry.Work in a creative, friendly environment with a supportive small team.Flexible, hybrid work environment.Free entry to some company-related events.An equal opportunity employer committed to embracing a diverse and inclusive work environment.Job Description/Duties In support of the HoF, the primary responsibilities include: Accounts payable (trade and royalties) – processing of bills and payments and AP reconciliations.Weekly assistance with bank reconciliation.Monthly credit card reconciliation.Stand-in for Accounts receivable.Ensure correct data entry for BAS.Assistance with royalties processing in the SR1 Rytebox royalty software (full training given).Various other admin and accounts-related tasks as required to support the Finance team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for the business.About You Qualifications & Experience & Qualities: A can-do attitude – proactivity to work autonomously and in a team environment.Experience in complete MYOB software.Strong Excel and efficient data entry skills.Prior experience with royalties, and project or job accounting will be an advantage.Dealing with high volume of transactions periodically (payments of royalties bi-annually in April and October).High level of accuracy and attention to detail and ability to acquire and absorb information quickly.Proven strong administrative, analytical and synthetic skills.Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or equivalent as a minimum.Desirable experience in a similar type of role of at least 18-24 months.Must have at least permanent working visa status.All applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to disability, protected veteran status, age, race, creed, color, religion, sex, marital status, affectional or sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, ancestry, nationality, or national origin.
