This is a part-time role with flexible hours of up to 34 hours per week.

Your role as an Accounts Assistant ensures that we are financially sound and capable of providing the services that make a difference in people's lives.
Key Responsibilities:Accounts Payable: Manage the timely processing of invoices and payments to suppliers.Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements with internal financial records, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.Financial Data Entry: Maintain accurate financial records and update the accounting system with relevant information regarding transactions.Policy and Procedures: Review and create policies and work instructions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.Financial Reporting: Help prepare financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets, and assist with month-end and year-end financial closings.General Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the finance department, project work, answering queries, and liaising with vendors.What You Would Bring To This Role:Previous experience in a similar accounting assistant role preferred.
A background in accounts payable, receivable, or general bookkeeping is highly regarded.Strong attention to detail, process-oriented, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.Solid communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and professionalism.Proficiency in accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, or QuickBooks, and strong skills in Microsoft Excel.A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Possession of a current Australian driver's licence is a must.If you are looking for a role where you can contribute to a meaningful cause and make a difference in people's lives as well as utilising your passion for numbers, financial processes, and attention to detail, then Trauma Assist is the place for you.
