Orange, Blue Mountains & Central West NSWAccounts Officers/Clerks (Accounting)Integral Skills is a locally owned Registered Training Organisation (RTO) with offices in Orange and Mudgee.
A fantastic opportunity has become available at our Orange Office for a bright and energetic Accounts and Payroll Officer on a Part Time basis, 1 to 2 days per week.This position is for immediate start and hours can be discussed for the right person.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to get back into the workforce or work around family commitments.ACCOUNTS & PAYROLL OFFICER POSITIONReporting to the Director, the successful candidate will work alongside our RTO Manager and team to accurately execute payroll, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and general Accounting Responsibilities.
We are looking for a person ready to join a friendly team committed to setting the standards higher.New team members will possess the following:Diploma, Degree or Professional Certificate in Financial Services or Accounting.Demonstrated experience in processing end to end payroll in a fast-paced organisation.Demonstrated experience in invoicing and processing of Accounts Payable and Receivable.Demonstrated knowledge of human resource functions and procedures.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word and experience with Xero highly desirable.Strong initiative with a highly developed attention to detail.Have a strong work ethic.Be trustworthy and dependable with company resources.Main responsibilities and duties include:Coordination and management of end to end payroll functions.Provide employment support and advice on payroll related enquiries.Administer payroll month end processing and reconciliations.Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of personnel and financial records.Administer payment and reporting of PAYG tax.Administration, calculation, payment and reconciliation of all superannuation contributions.Coordinate and manage Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable functions.Reconciliation and maintenance of company bank and credit card accounts.Assist in the follow up of overdue accounts receivables and management of debt collection procedures according to legislation.Manage company insurance and maintain its currency.Manage and maintain all Financial Ledger accounts.Prepare financial reporting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis or as required.Audit financial records, payments and procedures as required.Liaise with contracted company accountant for PAYG, BAS and all other Tax reporting to ATO and government agencies.SALARY PACKAGEThe salary package for this position includes:8 to 16 hours per week with some flexibility to work additional if required.Salary above award, plus super.Entitlements accrued on a pro rata basis commensurate with hours worked as per award.SOUND LIKE A GOOD FIT?For further information please contact Tony Southwell (RTO Manager) on 63622502 during weekdays between 8am and 4pm.
