Overview
Working hours are 09:30 - 14:30. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts and Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a professional demeanour, providing essential support to our office operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth running of daily administrative tasks and fostering effective communication within the team.
Duties
Answer and manage phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, ensuring all inquiries are handled professionally. Perform various clerical tasks including data entry, filing, and maintaining office records. Utilise QuickBooks for managing documents, spreadsheets, and financial records. Assist in scheduling appointments and managing calendars for team members. Provide administrative support to various departments as needed, contributing to overall office efficiency. Maintain an organised office environment by ensuring supplies are stocked and equipment is functioning properly. Collaborate with team members on projects, providing assistance with research and documentation as required. Invoicing on a daily basis. Chasing overdue payments. Qualifications
Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position. Proficient in using computer software including QuickBooks. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent data entry skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills. Previous experience in an office environment is preferred but not essential.
