The RoleAccounts and Administration Assistant - FIXED TERMWe have over 90 staff across New Zealand and Australia and have a fulltime fixed term contract to cover parental leave from June 2024 to mid-January 2025. We are looking for a superstar accounts and administration assistant to fill this fixed term position based in our Melbourne Branch in Boronia, reporting to the CFO in New Zealand. This is a busy and varied position covering accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash book as well as general administration tasks.Key Responsibilities and AttributesThe key responsibilities and attributes include, but are not limited to:Managing all aspects of the day-to-day accounts receivable processes. Managing all aspects of the local accounts payable processes. Managing all aspects of cash book processes.Assisting with the international payments process.Allocating and reconciling all payments.Communicating with customers regarding account enquires and debt collection.Answering all incoming calls and transferring to the appropriate department when necessary. Excellent phone manner and able to develop and maintain customer relationships.A professional outlook, with a high level of attention to detail.Ability to work in a truly growing team environment and understanding that teamwork and communication is essential.Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.A high level of computer experience and literacy.Flexibility to assist the team in other areas of the business where required.Work with your manager and team in NZ to maintain excellent intercompany relationships and assist with cover when necessary.
