Winmark Wines is seeking an experienced and financially astute Accounts Administrator to oversee all on-site financial aspects of our Cellar Door, Gallery, Accommodation and Vineyard operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the financial administration of the business, ensuring the production of timely and accurate financial reports, compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and contributing financial advice to the management team.
Key Responsibilities: Manage all on-site financial operations including Invoicing, AR, AP, GL & Cost Accounting, Inventory Control and Revenue Recognition. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and reports. Regulatory reporting, including Cashflow, BAS, WET and Payroll Tax. Compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Manage month-end and year-end close processes. Financial analysis, forecasting, and modelling to support decision-making. Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information flow. Oversee management of inventory. Manage relationships with external accountants, tax advisers, bankers, and other stakeholders. Qualifications and Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Bookkeeping and/or Accounts Administration, preferably in the wine industry, agriculture, or hospitality. Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or above highly regarded. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures. Detailed exposure to software such as MYOB, Xero, and POS (Lightspeed). Knowledge of payroll administration and Awards. Strong administration skills and highly proficient in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite Products. An eye for detail and excellent analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Desire to contribute positively to Winmark Culture and Values.
