Front- Desk Office and Accounts Administrator | Inner North Brisbane | C. $70,000 Depending on Experience | Permanent - Site-based role Do you enjoy working in a varied role, where no two days are the same and you can enjoy interesting and diverse work?
My client is a true success story-a thriving owner-managed organization that continues to expand. They are seeking an accounts and admin superstar to support both the accounts manager and office manager, ensuring the back-office functions run seamlessly. Located in modern, attractive offices in inner north Brisbane, this workplace offers a welcoming atmosphere with a fantastic culture and a family-like environment that you'll enjoy coming to every day.
This is a great varied role for someone commencing their finance career, or someone more experienced wanting a varied role within a smaller business where they can add value.
You will be the face of the business, being the first point of contact for incoming calls and delivering exceptional service while directing enquiries. You'll also meet and greet site visitors, ensuring they have refreshments and are welcomed into the business on arrival. You'll ensure the smooth running of the office, including maintaining stationary supplies, coordinating incoming and outgoing mail and general administrative/office requirements such as monitoring leave, and maintaining the environment. You will book travel/flights/accommodation for the team and assist with document control. You will update and monitor compliance and WHS documentation. You'll assist with accounts payable and receivable entries, reconciliations and payment runs, and receipting. You'll also support with processing intercompany transactions and collating and processing insurance and renewals. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have worked in a similar capacity previously. Excellent customer service and organisational skills are a must for this key hire in the business. You will be competent with MS Office, including a good working knowledge of MS Excel.
