Role Overview
As an Accounts Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing financial documents and processes related to the purchasing and payment of goods and services from overseas locations. Based in our North Rocks office, you will support the Finance team by overseeing the foreign exchange transactions, creating and maintaining Letters of Credit, and administering FX hedges.
You'll collaborate closely with Profit Centres, providing essential information on exchange rates, payment methods, and FX hedging requirements to ensure accurate and efficient international transaction management. A detail-oriented approach and a strong focus on process consistency will be key to meeting strict deadlines and maintaining accuracy across financial systems.
Responsibilities Liaise with Profit Centres to provide information regarding exchange rates, methods of payment, FX hedging requirements, use of LC's and recording transactionsAssist in the creation and changes to FX hedgesCreate and maintain letter of creditsAssist in the recording of international transactions from purchasing to payment and the posting of these various transactions in the Finance transaction systemsAssist Accounts Payable for the timely payment of invoicesAccurately record the payments of transactionsLiaise with Profit centres to record the AUD value of international transactions Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have Accounts Payable experience and be highly detail-oriented, ensuring quality through a careful, error-checking workflow. A natural problem-solver, they will identify issues and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, maintaining a consistent approach to all transactions. They are process-driven, with a strong focus on documenting procedures to support seamless teamwork and enable others to perform tasks independently. Additionally, they will have a service-oriented mindset, building strong relationships with vendors and key team members, especially Profit Centre employees, to achieve optimal outcomes.
