TP Human Capital is currently recruiting for an Accounts/Administration Officer to play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our clients Townsville based office.
This position requires a personable and professional approach, as well as a commitment to confidentiality and teamwork.
You'll assist with a variety of tasks under the supervision of the Bookkeeper and Personal Assistant/Administration Officer.
The Role: Process daily sales, manage accounts payable/receivable, and handle receipting.
Create and manage purchase orders, process journals, and upload supporting documents.
Conduct monthly reconciliations using Excel, including ATM withdrawals and rebates.
Provide data entry, including stock adjustments and reporting.
Support and communicate with stakeholders.
Handle general office tasks, such as maintaining files, answering inquiries, and keeping the office organised.
Assist with publications and provide relief for the Personal Assistant/Administration Officer during absences.
The Person: Should have administrative experience and at least 2 years of experience with Xero.
Familiarity with Retail/Swiftpos Point of Sale Systems is highly regarded.
Proficiency in Microsoft programs and strong organisational skills.
Ability to multitask, learn new software, and maintain a proactive problem-solving approach.
