Farmers Warehouse We are a locally owned and operated rural merchandise store situated in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales.

The Opportunity We are now looking for a casual Accounts/Administration Officer based in Singleton, NSW.
You will be working roughly 20-30 hours per week with flexible working arrangements around your needs available (e.g.
You can work school hours 5 days a week if that suits you or 3 to 4 full days a week).
In this role, you will be a key member of the Accounts and Administration team, reporting to management, and will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient financial and administrative operations.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Processing non-stock creditor invoices and debtor payments Reconciling daily EFTPOS transactions and monthly credit card statements Maintaining cash management and till reconciliation processes Processing account applications and troubleshooting customer statements Monitoring and ordering office consumables as needed Collaborating effectively within the team to meet business goals Upholding confidentiality and adherence to company policies Assisting with payroll using MYOB Handling phone calls and directing them appropriately Supporting training sessions, functions, and field day events Additionally, you will be a key member in our new POS and Account system implementation commencing early this year.
What You Need To qualify, you will need a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar accounts or administration role.
Proficiency in MYOB or similar accounting software and demonstrated skills in accounts payable and reconciliation are essential.
Experience in accounts processing will also be vital.
Strong time management skills and attention to detail will also be critical to your success in this role.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued: Experience with cash management and till reconciliation Solid background in administration Familiarity with payroll processes Ability to monitor office consumables and maintain stock efficiently As our ideal candidate, you will possess strong communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively within a team, and a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
You are proactive, organised and adaptable, with a keen eye for detail and a natural ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Compensation and Benefits The hourly rate for this position is up to $34.50 per hour (depending on experience) PLUS super as a casual.
