About the opportunity
NEX Building Group are seeking to employ an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Administration Officer to join the Finance team located in our Corporate Office in Honeysuckle, Newcastle.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Providing assistance with various tasks as required to support the Finance team, primarily Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable focused Courtesy calls to our valued customers Collaboration with other teams within our brands to address customer queries promptly to aid in the collection of customer payments Processing, reconciliation and payment of a high volume of transactions Providing support to the Corporate Accounting Team when required including back-up for bank & trust account reconciliations, vendor maintenance and raising purchase orders Work collaboratively in a team environment Other ad hoc duties as required

In addition, you will demonstrate: High level attention to detail Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal Previous experience in an administrative position is advantageous Goal oriented, self-motivated, and able to work within a team environment Strong work ethic and positive work attitude
