Position Overview
The Accounts admin officer is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation's and assisting the finance team with other projects. This will include identifying opportunities for cost savings or process improvements. This role will support the finance team to ensure the financial information is accurate and provided timely. As part of the finance team, you'll work alongside a dedicated group of professionals, driving forward TheirCare's business goals.

Accounts payable:
-Ensure that all invoices are coded correctly and prepare weekly payment runs
-Timely payment of invoices
Accounts receivable:
-Raise invoices within the finance system to Schools, Government departments
-Allocate cash received
Credit cards:
-Monthly coding of credit card statements
-Prepare and present regular reports to management on any unusual spend within credit cards
Parent payments:
-Daily reconciliation of parent payments and interaction with customer service
Finance email:
-Regularly review the finance inbox and ensure all emails are addressed timely and where relevant forwarded to the correct person
Send all invoices from the finance inbox to TrailD and export approved invoices to MYOB
Continuous Improvement:
-Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
-Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  
Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience as an Accounts administration officer, preferably in a multi-site environment in the childcare, education, health care, aged care, or distributed retail network. Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Proficiency in accounting software (MYOB or similar) Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
