Guma-Warnii Resources are currently recruiting an experienced Accounts/Admin Officer to join our valued Clients Office based in Osborne Park, Perth.
Our Client is a West Australian owned and operated Company, that provides dry hire of earthmoving & pipeline equipment, with maintenance support services in the Australian Mining, Civil and Construction industries.
They have a head office in Osborne Park, and depots in Newman, Port Hedland and Karratha.
This integral role is based in the Head Office, this all rounder role will have you meeting & greeting clients as well as undertaking accounts/admin duties.
Therefore, we are seeking a well presented candidate with professional communication as well as attention and a high accuracy of data entry and work output.
Key Responsibilities: Responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the organisation.
Receiving invoices, verifying and reconciling invoices in preparation for payment Entering invoices into the accounts payable/receivable system.
Filing and maintaining supplier records.
This role will be Reception based, which will involve some incoming phone calls, inventory/stock control of office supplies, raising purchase orders.
Liaising with the Directors, General Manager, Accounting and Operations Team, Monitoring the supply and delivery of parts and materials and parts collection if required.
Initially this role is mostly AP/Admin with some opportunity to progress and take on Accounts Receivable responsibilities Other duties as required About You: Experience in Accounts Payable and some Receivable Understanding of General Ledger codes Thorough Understanding of accounting principles including reconciliations and reporting.
Proven accuracy and attention to detail in data entry High proficiency in MYOB, MYOB Advanced and Excel.
High level of computer literacy, effective competency in written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Friendly, reliable and dependable.
Perth based for Osborne Park office location.
