The Willemsen Group is an Australian private family office with substantial investments in direct commercial property and a wide range of financial assets. Our Canberra head office is comprised of a small team of dedicated long serving employees who provide a range of facilities management, financial management and property development services for the Group.
We are seeking a professional and discrete individual who is diligent and wants to become a member of our team in the Canberra office.
Duties will vary, including: accounts payable, data entry and payment of invoices,accounts receivable, invoicing & debtor management,bank reconciliations,electronic and paper document management,commercial office lease administration,maintenance of safety registers; andvarious administrative functions which support the daily operation of the organisation.To be considered for this position we are looking for a person with the following attributes: a desire to work in a small private family company environment,advanced capabilities in the operation of Microsoft applications including Word, Outlook, Excel and Teams. A capability to use document formatting techniques in Word, and the use of formulas in Excel is essential,ability to process data with accuracy & high level of attention to detail,sound knowledge & understanding of basic accounting principles,efficient multi-tasker with strong time-management skills and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines,proactive and seeks to take on new responsibilities and extend the scope of their work when tasks are completed,you must be eligible to live & work in Australia without restrictions,fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills; andown vehicle and a valid driver's licence.Remuneration: Remuneration is reviewed annually with the opportunity for future growth depending on performance.
