Accounting Manager

We are recruiting for an Accounting Manager to join our team in our West Palm Beach office. This is an in office position.The Accounting Manager reports directly to the Assistant Controller and will be responsible for the daily financial management operations, and other financial analysis functions in support of the Corporate Finance Department. Will also be engaged in monthly closing activities, maintaining strong financial controls, and preparing/reviewing GL reconciliations; manages assigned staff.Responsibilities:• The overall Accounts Payable, Fixed Asset, and Mileage and Expense report functions.• Prepares/assists in the annual budgeting processes.• Compiles reports and information in connection with audits.• Prepares management reports for presentation to the board of directors.• Plans, assigns, and directs work of Finance Accountants.• Assists in maintaining accounting and finance policies and procedures.• Performs and/or reviews general ledger reconciliations.Requires:• Proven leadership & strong team building skills• Excellent verbal & written communication skills• Ability to establish priorities, work under time pressures and exercise independent judgment.• PC proficiency using Microsoft Office and other Association softwareBachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or Associate Degree with equivalent work experience.A minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of accounting experience including managerial skills.Farm Credit of Florida is an Equal Opportunity Employer of women, minorities, protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
