The intern will know how to work as part of the accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients.Roles and ResponsibilitiesCreating financial reports/prepare financial reportsProducing financial statementsInputting journal entriesCompleting tax returnsUpdating expense reports, balance sheet accounts, and general ledger accountsUsing accounting software and Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel)/data entryCash managementOther varied accounting activities for accounts payable and accounts receivableFollowing company policyResolving customer issuesPartaking in special projectsRequirements:Must be at a senior enrolled full-time in a bachelor's degree program, majoring in accounting.Must have basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and WordAbility to have direct, candid, and productive conversations around performanceAbility to work a flexible work schedule depending on business needs
