Accounting Firm Practice Manager

Office Management (Administration & Office Support)Emploi Recruitment is currently recruiting for an office/practice manager for a fast-growing accounting firm in Perth's Northern suburbs.This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career as there will be no shortage of opportunities to take on more responsibility.The main duties for this opportunity are as follows:Manage the onboarding of new staff.Oversee a small administration team, including offshore staff.Manage staff access to various software; Xero, Xero Ledgers, CAS360 etc.Liaise with building management for repairs and maintenance, as well as provide and maintain building access for all staff.Serve as a main point of contact for IT queries, resolving where possible and escalating to IT support if needed.Hold weekly team meetings.Complete initial consult calls with prospective clients, delegating services as needed and ensuring accurate data is collected.Completion of client onboarding and offboarding.Liaise with the manager to ensure all business leads are followed through for conversion.Liaise with the telephone provider ensuring new numbers are ported to the correct account, liaising with the account manager as needed.Assist accounts receivable department with handling escalating debtors.Management of practice lodgement list; proactively ensuring client work is brought in for timely completion.Assisting clients with admin-related queries via telephone, email, and face to face if needed.Providing a positive life journey for all clients; cross-selling services where possible.Overseeing the job input process.Liaising with ATO as needed; requesting payment plans, managing relationship access on behalf of the practice.Allocating jobs/directing work to the right team member where applicable.Ideally, you will have the following skills/experience:Minimum 5 years' experience in an administrative role, preferably in a senior position.Accounting firm background preferable.Exposure to Xero Accounting Software.Excellent verbal and written communication.Highly organised.Good work ethic and attention to detail.If this opportunity looks like it could be for you, please submit your CV online as soon as possible so you don't miss out.Confidential enquiries can be made by calling Stephen Lawrence on 0402 222 002 (24 hours).
