Position Summary
We're seeking an Intermediate Finance Manager to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the CEO in financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles and be ready to grow with our dynamic company.
Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly financial statements and reportsAssist in budget preparation and variance analysisManage month-end closing processesAccounts Payable & ReceivableOversee AR/AP processes, ensuring timely payments and collectionsManage relationships with vendors and franchiseesPayrollReview and approve bi-weekly payrollEnsure compliance with payroll regulationsFranchise Financial ManagementCalculate and bill franchise-related feesReview franchisee financial reports for complianceProvide basic financial analysis to support business decisionsAssist in identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvementRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3-5 years of accounting experienceProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDesired (but not required) Experience in franchising or multi-location businessesKnowledge of Australian tax regulationsFamiliarity with ERP systems
