In this leadership role, you will oversee a team of accountants, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies. You will be an integral part of our leadership team, working collaboratively to elevate our practice and related entities to new heights. Your primary responsibilities will include: Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Work Review: Conduct thorough reviews of financial statements, compliance reports, and other accounting work to ensure accuracy and compliance with Australian accounting standards. Workflow Management: Oversee and optimize workflow processes to enhance efficiency and meet client deadlines. Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with relevant laws and regulations, ensuring the firm's practices align with industry standards. Client Liaison: Work closely with clients to address compliance-related inquiries and provide expert guidance. Qualifications: CPA or CA qualification is a prerequisite. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proven leadership in mentoring, training, and reviewing team members. Ability to prioritise, delegate and review work for the team. Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. A desire to develop and excel at the practice. Providing high level tax, restructuring, and succession planning advice.
