Responsibilities Manage comprehensive bookkeeping using Xero, including account reconciliation and financial reporting Process weekly payroll for multiple locations, ensuring accurate and timely payments Handle invoice management through HubDoc, verifying GST accuracy and approving payments Set up and execute batch payments for vendors and employees Integrate sales data from Square POS into Xero for seamless financial tracking Perform administrative tasks using Microsoft Office suite Monitor and manage critical email communications Assist in reviewing and updating HR policies to support business growth Reconcile staff hours between Deputy rostering system and Xero for precise payroll processing Requirements 2+ years of proven expertise in Xero accounting software, with strong bookkeeping and payroll processing skills Familiarity with HubDoc, Deputy, and Square POS systems, or ability to quickly master these platforms Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word Meticulous attention to detail and high accuracy in financial data management Self-motivated with excellent time management skills for remote, part-time work Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Experience in or understanding of the food service or retail industry preferred Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of a growing business
