As part of our Finance team and reporting to the Controller, the Accounting & Payroll Administrator will handle the daily accounting operations and administer biweekly payroll for our steadily growing mid-sized company.
This role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Keepingfinancial records and establishing, maintaining, and balancing various accounts within an ERP system, leveraging full cycle accounting knowledge.Reconcilinggeneral ledger accounts, including bank and credit card statements.Postingjournal entries and reconcilingaccounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.Preparingand submittingbiweekly payroll.Processing recurring payments, including taxes and monthly benefits statements.Assistingin month-end reporting procedures, including reconciling balance sheet accounts monthly.Recordinginformation, processing, and maintaining anorderly financial filing system.Issuing subcontractor and employee payments.Preparing monthly invoices and supporting accounts receivable collection. Qualifications Minimum Associate's degree or relevant certificate in Accounting; Bachelor's degreein Accounting ideal.Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role.Experience working with Deltek VantagePoint a significant asset.Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.Motivated, positive team player, who collaborates effectively and respectfully with others.Detail oriented, with organizational and time management skills.Able to work well in a team and independently with limited instruction under deadlines.Please apply by submitting your resume and a cover letter by 12:00pm PDT, Monday, September 23rd, 2024.
