About the Role We are seeking a ACCOUNTANT to join our team, 30-38 hours/week, flexible days/hours. This position is for a fixed term covering parental leave. Flexible commencement date from June 2024.
About You This role would suit a graduate or student studying Bachelor of Business/ Commerce or Bachelor of Accounting. You will:
have a detailed understanding of Revenue, Cost of Goods, GPs, Expenses and the ability to talk confidently to stakeholders about these.be competent in Microsoft Office programs have intermediate/advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (create/edit formulas, build reports for line managers, create/edit graphs). have the ability to problem solve and investigate variances.have the ability to prioritise multiple tasks with competing deadlines.have an understanding of inventory and willingness to learn.have a current Queensland Driver's License.have Australian work rights.Bank ReconciliationsAssist with Stocktake VariancesBlack Coal LSL reviewPayroll Tax review and lodgementsMonth end reporting (WIP, BU Reporting)General Ledger PostingMonthly Cost Reviews for Business UnitsWeekly Management of Debtor invoices statusYearly BudgetsWhat we offer Competitive salary, dependent on experience.Access to Employee Wellness Package.Access to Employee Assistance Program.Working with a team of professionals focused on safety, outstanding customer service and quality workmanship.How to Apply Please submit your resume through the SEEK process and take the next step in your career!
