About the roleDue to project growth, this newly created position of Senior Project Accountant is a great opportunity for a high impact management accountant to build on their knowledge and experience with a clear path for career advancement. The role is based on site at Mt Arthur South reporting to the Finance and Administration Manager and will work collaboratively with Management and site stakeholders. Mt Arthur South have just signed a new 6-year contract extension with their client!This rewarding role will require you to provide professional advice and support to the project regarding its financial accountability, profitability and controls while ensuring financial performance targets are achieved. Key to the success of the role is developing a deep understanding of the projects profitability and commercial touch point, as well as being able to communicate and influence site stakeholders.
