About the role Agestrong Health Group is currently seeking a Part Time Accountant/ Senior Bookkeeper to join our friendly team. This role is a remote role and would suit a qualified professional seeking a great work-life balance. 
1-2 days per week view to expand as the team continues to grow. Work from home. Great renumeration and work life balance. Positive team culture. Immediate start Requirements: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using MYOB accounting software. Preparation and completion of quarterly BAS, monthly PAYG & Payroll tax, Superannuation reconciliation. Liaise with customers, clients for account reconciliation, respond to queries on payment/ invoicing. Manage timesheets and payroll to ensure accurate and timely payments to employees and contractors, including payroll queries. Facilitate setting up new creditors accounts in the system, completing credit checks. Assist with annual budgeting, cash flow forecasting/ modelling and provide financial reporting including but not limited too month-end and variance analysis reporting to management. Take ownership of accounts receivable & payable, including data entry, processing and debtor recovery. Assist with accounting tasks including bank reconciliation, credit card transactions. Ensure good internal controls are maintained for accounts payable & receivable. Assistance in managing any financial auditing processes. Assist in the development of financial processes within the business as we continue to grow. To be successful in this role you will need the following skills and attributes:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting/ commerce (desirable) otherwise Cert 4 Bookkeeping (minimum) with proven experience and sound accounting knowledge and principals. Extensive experience with MYOB accounting software a prerequisite Strong computer skills including use of MS Excel, Power BI Previous work within the healthcare sector an advantage  Ability to work autonomously, good time management, have an attention to detail and poses excellent written and verbal communication skills. Have a genuine passion for finance, people and processes.
