Accountant - Randstad

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Asset Accountant to join one of our government clients here in Wollongong on a 6 month contract. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring accurate recording, tracking, and reporting of the company's fixed assets in line with government compliance policies. This role will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity of the end of year financial records. Your Responsibilities: Maintain and update the fixed asset register, including additions, disposals and depreciation calculations. Conduct regular asset reconciliations. Collaborate with separate internal teams to ensure accuracy in asset information. Prepare end of month and end of financial year reports. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field. Proven experience in Asset Accounting. Strong knowledge of Accounting software's (Preferably Tech One).
