About the role Viterra is seeking an experienced Accountant to join the team inour Melbourne office. The role of Accountant NZ is responsible forassisting in the preparation of accurate financial information(including local and group reporting) to support business decisionmaking for the Viterra New business. You will work closely withfinancial and non-financial stakeholders across the business toensure accurate and reliable data is produced.
Duties may include but are not limited to Prepare daily APEX position reportsAssist in preparing weekly statement of funds reportsPrepare and post standing monthly journals to SAP for itemssuch as clearing accounts, internal and external loans, reclassentries and prepaymentsMaintenance of fixed asset registers and processing fixedasset accounting entriesReview and uploading of cost accrualsReconciliation of credit card expenditure and transfer ofinformation from the credit card system to GLPerform monthly intercompany transactionalreconciliationsProvide assistance with accounting for derivatives andforeign exchange transactionsComplete monthly balance sheet reconciliationsAssist in preparation of monthly financial reporting andannual budgetsPreparing quarterly statistical survey to Australian Bureauof Statistics (ABS)Prepare and provide information to fulfill external andinternal audit requestsAbout you Bachelor's degree in accounting/business/financeCommenced CA/CPAMinimum 3 years' post graduate financeexperienceThorough knowledge of Microsoft Office ExcelSAP and/or AgTech Smartsoft experience will be anadvantageStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detailAbility to work in a high-pressure environment andproactively manage stakeholders and conflicting prioritiesAs well as providing an empowering culture, Viterra promotes arange of employee benefits including:
