We are seeking a full-time Accountant/NDIS Plan Manager to join our fabulous team in Blacktown, NSW.

Job Type: Permanent Full Time
Salary: AUD 79,315 per year plus superannuation
Reporting to the head of finance operations, this role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial results, financial reporting, compliance, and NDIS Plan management.
This role will involve the following duties but not limited to:
Assisting in group financial Reporting - Posting month-end journals in the accounting software for accrued expenses, deferred income, accrued unbilled revenue, prepayments and reversal of the previous month's accruals
Process journals and assist in completing the month-end process, including preparation and finalisation.
Responsible for the accuracy of the general ledger through reconciliations and analysis.
Accounts Receivable Management – Managing the creation and approval of invoices for accounts receivables and handling invoice enquiries by clients and external plan managers.
Reporting to managers on accounts receivable/aged debt.
Assist in General accounts payable (overheads and staff expense claims).
Bank reconciliations - Liaising with the finance team and reporting people to ensure internal financial controls are in place and the correct procedures are being followed for accounting and bookkeeping of revenue, cost of sales, income and expenditureAssisting in the preparation of month-end and year-end group reporting.
Preparing payroll including payroll tax and superannuation.
Processing daily and weekly payment requests through PRODA, managing and reporting accounts payable and receivable.
Perform a managed accounting entry structure, compliance-based internal auditing, accounting information production, and record-keeping.
Creating and maintaining accounting systems, as well as advising on the selection and use of computer-based accounting systems.
Implement and maintain internal controls and ensure strong financial governance.
Managing and monitoring a participant's budget per applicable service agreements for the duration of the NDIS plan.
Managing the NDIS claims and disbursing funds to providers for delivered services promptly.
About the applicant:
Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting Business or Finance (essential)
Certificate in Plan management
Skills and Experience Requirement:
Minimum of 2 years experience in NDIS desirable
Minimum of 2 years experience in Accounting and Finance
Proficiency in Xero, NDIS PRODA, PACE, FlOWLOGIC, CAREVIEW and Microsoft Office
An excellent working and up-to-date knowledge of the NDIA pricing arrangements and pricing schedule
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
