They are seeking a dynamic, well presented, driven Public Practice Accountant with relevant experience in an accounting firm. With proven capability managing a portfolio of clients and building new business, you will also possess strong interpersonal skills.ResponsibilitiesPrepare general work papers and spreadsheets in support of the client's source documentsProvide general assistance with the processing of all bookkeeping and accounting tasks for your teamPrepare and finalise financial statements and taxation obligation returns and schedulesReview and discuss financial statements and tax returns with clients regarding outcomesPreparation and review of communication with the ATO & SROReview and advise on corporate obligations and tax effect of business structuresProvide client assistance with compliance issues related to matters arising from PAYG, GST, Workcover, Superannuation, Centrelink and other government agenciesRequirementsRelevant educational qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCA or CPA qualifiedA minimum of 2 years Public Practice experienceExperience using Xero, Practice Manager & MYOB cloud-based software preferredDemonstrated analytical / problem solving abilityOrganisational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of Client Service skillsTeamwork skills as you will be part of a large team and work collaboratively with your colleaguesBenefitsCompetitive salaryWorking from homeFlexible hours/hybrid roleParking on sitePerformance bonusesOpportunities for career development & progressionFor a confidential discussion about this role, or any other Melbourne accounting roles that we are currently working on, contact Nick on or email your CV to [email protected].#KLRjobs
