Fantastic opportunity to work for FocusNet Technology, an Australian based IT & Telecommunications business, located in East Perth.As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the preparation of financial reports, analysis of financial data, and providing insights to support informed business decisions.Working closely with both internal and external stakeholders, you will ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of financial information.This role demands a keen attention to detail, effective performance under pressure, and a genuine commitment to continuous learning and professional growth as an Accountant.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Preparing sales reports, and maintaining and submitting records of business expenses incurred, Budgeting and reporting, Assist in conducting analysis, profitability reports and present accurate data and financial analysis to internal customers.Creating financial statements for internal and external company requirements, Providing financial analysis and forecasting, Supporting auditing projects, Reviewing, developing, and implementing financial systems, processes, financial models, and reports to provide reliable and useful financial information for the various departments and management, Perform to the best of your abilities all duties assigned to you, Serve the Company faithfully and diligently to the best of your ability, Comply with all policies of the Company, which are in place from time to time, Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards, Documents financial transactions by entering account information, Recommends financial actions by analysing accounting options, Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents, Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology and automation, Advise management about issues such as resource utilisation, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts, WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Relevant qualification in Accounting/Commerce or related disciplines, Minimum 2 years work experience, Proficiency in Xero, and the Microsoft Office Suite, Sound knowledge of costing / management accounting practices Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines, Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills, Strong analytical & problem solving skills.BENEFITS: Competitive salary (offering $74,000 – $80,000 + superannuation) Full time employment Inclusive, fun & social team environment Free parking on site, or close to public transport
