Accountant - Intermediate

Our client is a well esablished, and more importantly growing Accounting, Financial Planning and Consultancy firm. They focus on the Chinese speaking market so the ability to converse in Mandarin is highly desirable.

As an Intermediate/Senior Accountant you will work closely with partners and team members of the firm to provide business, accounting and taxation services. Based on your level of experience, your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for all entity types including trusts, companies, partnerships, individuals and smsf's Grow your portfolio - sell services Preparation of activity statements Preparation of other statutory returns including Fringe Benefits tax, Payroll Tax and Land Tax Liaising with the Tax Office and other government agencies Assist with tax planning and advisory projects Working with accounting software - Xero/Intuit/MYOB/Simple Fund 360 Research on various tax issues Skills, Capabilities and experience 2-5 years' business services experience in an Australian Public Practice Accounting Firm Bachelor Degree in Commerce or equivalent Moving towards or have completed the CA/CPA program Have excellent oral and written communication skills Strong commitment to quality service and client relationships Good problem solving skills and embrace modern technologies Be a highly motivated and proactive self-starter Be eager to learn, grow and further your career To express your interest please follow the links
