Bossong Engineering Pty Ltd is an advanced manufacturing and service company based in a modern facility in Welshpool, 10 minutes from the Perth CBD. We provide Engineering, Fabrication, Welding, Fitting and Machining solutions to customers in the Petroleum and Mining industries.
We are currently experiencing unprecedented growth for our wide range of services. We are looking for the next generation of talent and seek a high calibre Management Accountant, with a strong information systems focus. This position presents an ideal opportunity for a talented, recent graduate (3+ years experience) to work alongside and learn from the highly respected senior members of our team.
Your role:
Initially you will contribute to the Finance team, assisting in transaction management, reporting and planning processes. With the benefit of experience in the business you will deliver improved system solutions to our internal customers. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer, and is responsible for:
Monthly performance reporting of operational and customer project results
Assist in all Planning, Budgeting and Reporting cycles
Assist in preparation of group BAS, FBT and Income Tax returns
Assist with ad-hoc financial and operational analysis and scenarios
Prepare financial reports and reconciliations for smaller associated entities
Provide transaction assistance for foreign currency and capital equipment acquisitions
Development of new and existing reporting systems with SQL, our ERP, Power BI and MS Excel
Development of unique, paperless administration processing and reporting systems and applications across the business using Python and Power Automate
Backup and coverage to the Payables and Payroll Officer

Education and Experience:
Must be located in Australia with

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Business with strong academic record
Completion or significant progress towards a CPA designation
Minimum 3 years post graduate experience in a Financial role
Exceptional information systems and information technology literacies
Ability to multi-task and self-manage your time, attendance and professional work ethic
Beneficial:
Completion of the CPA designation with strong results in information systems and management accounting
Experience in usage of Microsoft Power BI or similar SQL based extraction and reporting software tools
Python programming experience
