Job Description Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standardsManage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reportingPrepare, analyse, and report monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and cost control recommendationsSupport budgeting and forecasting processes to aid strategic decision-making.Ensure accurate reconciliation of customer and supplier accounts and resolve discrepanciesOversee inventory valuation and stock reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policiesMaintain the fixed asset register and ensure proper capitalization and depreciation schedulesProvide support with payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and agreementsPrepare and submit BAS, PAYG, FBT, GST, and other statutory returns as requiredThe Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum of 1-3 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to multiple areas such as AP, AR, payroll, and taxProficiency in accounting software such as SAP and advanced Excel skillsExceptional analytical and problem-solving skillsWhat's on Offer Opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative team environment.Career development and continuous learning opportunities.Competitive salary and benefits package.
