Job Type: Permanent position | Full time positionJob DescriptionGenis Steel are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Accountant to join their team in Somerton VIC 3062. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:Day to day, month-end and year-end accounting and management reportsReconciliation of Balance Sheet and Profit & loss accountsAnnual budget preparation with quarterly reviews and continuous monitoringEnsure all BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax and other statutory returns are completed.Compliance oversightPreparation of the monthly manufacturer reportsSupervision of Accounts Payable, Accounts receivableHandle Payroll functionsProcess improvements and internal controlsAssist in the annual external audit process, including submission of audited accounts to financiers and regulatorsSkills and Abilities:Ideally have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or minimum of 2 years' of relevant experienceA Tertiary Qualification in Accounting or relevantAbility to work in a team environmentCPA/CA qualification completed or ongoingSalary range is $70,000-$90,000pa commensurate with experience.
