Key Responsibilities: Preparation of BAS, IAS, and tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts. Preparation of financial statements in accordance with Australian accounting standards. Assist in formulating and implementing budgetary and accounting policies to ensure efficient financial management and compliance. Manage tax audits and liaise with ATO and external auditors. Division 7A, CGT and FBT Calculations. Analyse operating costs, income, and expenditures to optimize financial performance for organizations and individuals. Assuring the accuracy of the information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements. Offer expert financial and taxation advice on business structures, strategic plans, and operational matters. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in accounting. At least 2 years of recent work experience in a public practice. Proficiency in Xero, Quickbooks, Myob is an advantage. CA/CPA/IPA qualified or working towards. Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills. Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills. Strong communication & organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team and meet deadlines. You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply.
