Reporting to the Associate/Partner, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive accounting and advisory services to our valued clients.
Your responsibilities will include accurate financial reporting, compliance, and business administration.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide high-quality client service are essential for this role.Key Selection CriteriaQualifications and Experience:Degree in Commerce/Accounting or equivalent.Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a similar role/industry.Experience in the preparation of business accounts, including reconciliation of cashbooks, GST, activity statements, payroll administration, and financial record keeping activities.Good working knowledge of PC-based applications, including Microsoft Office suite and computerized accounting software.Knowledge and experience in agricultural/regional-based business, preferably in the finance area.Skills:Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Effective prioritization and deadline management abilities.Personal Attributes:Punctual, organized, and demonstrates a positive attitude.Professionalism in representing the company and interacting with clients, colleagues, and the wider community.Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling client information.Proactive problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and grow.Required Criteria:Degree in Commerce/Accounting or equivalent.Victorian Drivers License.Commitment to uphold high ethical standards and compliance with company policies.Ability to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and embrace new initiatives.Willingness to attend educational workshops and participate in professional development activities.How to apply?All applications must be submitted via the GBS Recruitment website - www.gbsrecruitment.com.au (Job No.
