The Opportunity: Hooper Accountants currently have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Accountant to join our growing Toowoomba Team on a full-time or part-time basis.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work with an experienced, committed team, focused on delivering exceptional service to both established and emerging clients. This is an important role which will provide tax, accounting and business advisory services.
Key responsibilities include: Apply professional accounting, financial and taxation knowledge in the development and maintenance of client affairsProvide exceptional service to clients through relationship management and effective communicationPrepare tax returns, financial statements, BAS and IAS for all entity typesProvide knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements and ensure compliance is maintainedLiaising with the ATOHelping to identify, research and resolve all complex accounting issuesTo be successful in your application and this role, you will need: Bachelor of Business / Commerce Degree with Accounting MajorCPA or CA qualification or looking to complete (preferred but not essential)Relevant experience in a similar roleDemonstrated knowledge of Australian taxation lawComprehensive computer skills including knowledge of various accounting softwareExceptional written and verbal communication skillsWe can offer you: We believe in creating an environment where you can achieve your best and be extraordinary.
