We are looking for an Accountant to join our tribe and who is eager to make an impact and support Australian SMEs in thriving. What the role is about: Support a portfolio of Australian SMEs, being their point of contact for everything accounting-related, and ensuring smooth sailing of our operations - you are a true business partner to them; Be the point of contact for anything accounting-related for your clients - like managing your accounting firm without the hassle of finding clients; Control the work quality delivered by the bookkeeping team - you're the quality gate keeper and help them grow; Communicate regularly with clients to ensure that all of their questions are addressed and that we have all the data we need to deliver our work - providing them peace of mind; Coordinate quarterly BAS submissions and other ad-hoc accounting-related duties; Who you are: At least 3 years of Australian Accounting experience, communicating directly with clients; Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent and either CA, CPA, or CIMA qualified, or be actively working towards these certifications; EXPERT level in Excel, Xero, Dext, A2X… HIGHLY attentive to detail Be part of a B-Corp company that lives and breathes the Sleek values (Simplicity, Loyalty, Entrepreneurship, Excellence, Kindness); $1,200/year of health & wellness allowance for your well being; A cool office next to sunny Hyde Park; Trainings all year around;
