Accountant

MARS Recruitment is collaborating with an ASX-listed organisation operating in the property sector.
This role supports the Finance Business Partner in key business processes and reporting, including forecasts, performance reporting, annual budgets, commissions, accounting queries, and other corporate finance responsibilities.
Responsibilities: Ensure timely completion of monthly close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries Oversee the cheque payment process and bank statement reconciliation Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring allocation and recognition of external costs Supervise the preparation and distribution of daily and weekly business activity reports to maximise operational efficiency Ensure recoverable costs are accurately allocated, invoiced, and recovered Execute internal revenue transactions as needed Maintain compliance with accounting standards and ensure high-quality finance system data The Requirements: 1-2 years' experience and with or close to finishing CA/CPA qualification Excellent written and verbal communication skills To Note: Must be available immediately or have a short notice period 2-3-month contract They operate a flexible hybrid working model - 1 day from home per week Open to applicants with Working Holiday Visas (WHV) If you're interested in this opportunity, please apply to the role directly.
