Accountant

MARS Recruitment is collaborating with an ASX-listed organisation operating in the property sector.
This role supports the Finance Business Partner in key business processes and reporting, including forecasts, performance reporting, annual budgets, commissions, accounting queries, and other corporate finance responsibilities.Responsibilities:Ensure timely completion of monthly close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entriesOversee the cheque payment process and bank statement reconciliationManage accounts payable processes, ensuring allocation and recognition of external costsSupervise the preparation and distribution of daily and weekly business activity reports to maximise operational efficiencyEnsure recoverable costs are accurately allocated, invoiced, and recoveredExecute internal revenue transactions as neededMaintain compliance with accounting standards and ensure high-quality finance system dataThe Requirements:2-3 years' experience and with or close to finishing CA/CPA qualificationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsTo Note:Must be available immediately or have a short notice period2-3-month contractThey operate a flexible hybrid working model - 1 day from home per weekOpen to applicants with Working Holiday Visas (WHV)
