THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a key position that will work closely with the Partners undertaking a range of senior tax accountant activities that will require you to draw on your previous experience, providing tailored services to our diverse group of clients. Some activities will include:
Prepare financial statements and Australian income tax returns in accordance with accounting standards and current income tax laws. Tax planning and business advice. Preparing and analysing financial information and assisting clients with general business and bookkeeping enquiries. ABOUT YOU Be degree qualified. Have, be working towards or willing to obtain CA/CPA qualifications with a minimum of 2 years' experience working across a broad range of clients. Demonstrated experience in an Australian intermediate / senior tax accountant position with the ability to prepare financial statements and tax returns for all business structures. Thorough understanding of Australian Taxation law. Extensive experience with accounting software packages (MYOB, Xero etc.) and knowledge of Class Super or equivalent. Have a "can-do" attitude that is focused and passionate about client needs with the ability to build strong, honest client relationships. BENEFITS
