Accountant

Our ClientOur client is a rapidly expanding, exciting group with significant, projected growth. They have established an impressive Adelaide based team to proactively drive the business into the future and there are several interesting projects plus an acquisition in the pipeline. An opportunity now exists for an Accountant to join the team to manage a variety of day to day financial and management accounting tasks.The RoleReporting through to the Financial Controller, but working closely with the CFO, you'll be responsible for:Financial accounting and associated reporting e.g. production of profit & loss and balance sheetProviding support with board packsCashflow and variance analysis and preparation of commentaryEnd of month close, adjusting journals and reconciliationsSupporting the implementation and integration of a new systemParticipating in costing and inventory management tasks including oversight of WIPAdditional accounting tasks as required by the businessAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will need:Degree + full CA/CPA membershipStrong technical understanding of accounting and finance standardsExcellent attention to detailAdaptable and the ability to manage changeArticulate and comfortable presenting information to stakeholdersIn ReturnYou will receive:Competitive salary based on experienceCity fringe locationClose knit and cohesive team-based environmentVaried duties and responsibilities across the full finance functionNext StepsIf you're interested in the role on offer, please apply using the relevant link.
