About the role Viterra is seeking a motivated individual to join our dynamicand supportive finance team located in Parkside. The varied roleprovides exposure to management, financial and tax accountingallowing you to enhance your existing skills and further developyour career. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you willassist stakeholders across the business to understand financialperformance and make business decisions.
Key tasks include month-end accounting processes andreconciliations as well as variance analysis and internalreporting. The role is also involved in external reportingrequirements including statutory reporting and preparation of taxsubmissions. All team members are encouraged to identify andimplement improvements in the effectiveness and efficiency offinance processes.
Duties Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations andreporting packs for management.Completion of month-end business unit tasks asrequired.Assist the Financial Controller with analysis of businessunit profitability and preparation of budgets and forecastsincluding annual capital budget.Responsible for compliance with internal controls includingquarterly testing.Assist with statutory reporting for Viterra and itscontrolled subsidiaries.About you Studying, or eligible to study, CPA or CA ProgramHigh competency in Microsoft ExcelMinimum 1 years' experience in large accounting firmor commercial management accounting role, including experiencein preparation of income tax, FBT and GST, is desirableAs well as providing an empowering culture, Viterra promotes arange of employee benefits including:
