Accountant

The Accountant position can be worked on a hybrid basis, but will be based from the Springfield location. Key responsibilities include:
Reconciliations across General Ledger, Bank Accounts and Corporate Credit Cards, and Departmental Banking Processing of all month end journals and balance sheet reconciliations as required Management of the Fixed Asset register Complete statutory requirements including Payroll Tax, BAS, and Workcover FBT tracking and Annual return Payroll - oversight and checking of fortnightly and weekly runs Accurately manage the year end account accruals Other tasks as required by the Finance Manager and detailed on the PD A successful Accountant should have:
An Accounting or Finance degree Proven working experience as an Accountant Proficiency in accounting software, ideally across multiple systems Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills Knowledge of financial regulations Excellent communication skills Our client is a well-known brand within Brisbane and a sought-after employer for many.
