Accountant

The Accountant position can be worked on a hybrid basis, but will be based from the Springfield location. Key responsibilities include:Reconciliations across General Ledger, Bank Accounts and Corporate Credit Cards, and Departmental BankingProcessing of all month end journals and balance sheet reconciliations as requiredManagement of the Fixed Asset registerComplete statutory requirements including Payroll Tax, BAS, and WorkcoverFBT tracking and Annual returnPayroll - oversight and checking of fortnightly and weekly runsAccurately manage the year end account accrualsOther tasks as required by the Finance Manager and detailed on the PDA successful Accountant should have:An Accounting or Finance degreeProven working experience as an AccountantProficiency in accounting software, ideally across multiple systemsStrong attention to detail and good problem-solving skillsKnowledge of financial regulationsExcellent communication skillsOur client is a well-known brand within Brisbane and a sought-after employer for many.
