We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Accountant to join their team. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the organisation's financial processes run smoothly and effectively.

This position offers an opportunity to engage in diverse accounting responsibilities, improve processes, and support the organisation's mission to provide exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities: Accounts Payable: Manage the full accounts payable function, including processing invoices, ensuring compliance with approvals, conducting payment runs, and responding to inquiries. Reconciliations: Perform resident, supplier, bank, credit card, and petty cash reconciliations while investigating and resolving discrepancies. Accounts Receivable: Support the accounts receivable function, including invoicing, receipting payments, processing claims, and managing outstanding fees. General Accounting Support: Assist in weekly cashflows, budget planning, and maintaining compliance with policies and regulations. Payroll Backup: Provide support for payroll processing, including employee onboarding, reconciliations, and statutory obligations. Experience & Qualifications: Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Experience: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and previous experience in accounts, reconciliations, and payroll support is essential. Experience in residential aged care is desirable but not required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. CPA or CA membership is desirable. The Opportunity?
