We are seeking a keen and enthusiastic graduate accountant to join our busy and growing team.
The role will be full-time and you will be involved in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, sole traders, and self-managed superannuation funds.
A large portion of this role will also involve performing bookkeeping functions in Xero, and preparing the BAS and IAS for many of our clients.
This role will give you exposure to a broad client base and the opportunity to receive mentoring and support in your career development from our partners and more senior accountants.
Your role includes but is not limited to the following:
Preparation of financial statements and taxation returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individualsBookkeeping, preparation of BAS, IAS and FBT returnsExposure to leading tax planning strategies and client groups with multiple entitiesAssist in transitioning and maximising clients use of cloud accounting software solutions and add on appsLiaise directly with clients, Senior client managers, Partners, the ATO and other regulatory bodiesAssist with maintaining and developing client relationshipsTo be successful in this position, you should have: Graduated with at least 1 or 2 years experience in an accounting practiceCommenced or looking to commence CA/CPA studiesExperience using small/medium business accounting software (ie.

Pay: $74,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
