Join our Leading International Oil & Gas client 12 month contract with potential to extend Based in West Perth with easy access to public transport About the Role: On behalf of our leading Oil & Gas client we are seeking professional and dedicated Accountants for Projectbasedwork. Reporting to the AFC Manager, you will manage monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities for assigned entities in accordance with Groups policies and procedures. The position will initially be a 12-month duration with options to extend. The role will be based in West Perthworking a Monday to Friday roster. Role Purpose: Prepare and posts relevant journals and ensure transactions are properly supported Ensure balance sheet accounts are properly reconciled and justified Ensure accounts payables matters are in order such as ensuring proper coding of invoices and allocations of costs Manage accounts receivable matters such as invoicing, coordination intercompany work orders, communicating accruals to inter companies Ensure all intercompany transactions are reconciled and all issues are resolved on a timely basis. Assist preparation of tax estimate, tax computation withholding tax matters Participate in yearend audit activities Liaise with internal/external auditors, tax agents and other relevant authorities Perform the treasury activities and relevant journal postings; and Perform any other ad-hoc duties from time to time. Professional Qualifications Should be an accounting graduate and CPA/CA Qualified or working to get the certification with at least 1-3 years experience Knowledge of financial accounting procedures and economic principles related to interpretation of Financial Statements; Knowledge of supplier management and passive cycle accounting; and Capability to use Corporate accounting systems for the accounting, bookkeeping and reporting process.
