The Position In this role as an Accountant, you will report to the Principal Accountant.
You will be responsible for building relationships with our existing clients and new clients to the business. Appointments are held either face-to-face or by phone appointments within the office.
You will provide support and assist with business solutions for our business clients whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism.
Qualifications & Experience Registered CPA / IPAMinimum of 3 years experience in a similar roleDemonstrate your current skill set regarding documentation to complete Company Tax returnsDemonstrate your current skill set regarding documentation to complete Personal Tax returnsKnowledge of MYOB, XERO, and Microsoft OfficeProfessional appearanceSolid communication skills both written and verbalAbility to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may ariseTasks & Responsibilities Complete Individual, Sole Trader, Partnership, Trusts, Company, and DIY Super Fund's Annual tax returns and financial statements.Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.Prepare and liaise with business clients regarding their Business Activity Statements.Troubleshoot for clients in times of difficulty.Ensure office presentation is of high standard.Maintain security by following procedures.As part of our friendly team, we do hold various team bonding days throughout the year, e.g., celebrate team member birthdays, special event days (Melbourne Cup, Easter, and Christmas, etc).
